About Ido Tadmor

Legendary, world renowned Israeli dancer and choreographer, Ido is the Presidential Fellow Professor at Chapman University in California, winner of the highly respected 'Landau Prize' in Israel (2011), and the ICA International Award recipient for lifetime achievement.

Ido was the Artistic Director of the Israeli National Ballet and had his own ensemble for 13 years. He was a lead dancer, choreographer and judge in professional dance competitions, as well as artistic director of competitions and festivals.

For over 4 decades, Ido has represented the State of Israel around the world as an “Ambassador of Dance” - a title given to him by the Israeli government. Tadmor was also awarded many international prizes, and has received grants from numerous sources of public bodies and foundations encouraging cultural activities in Israel.

Ido’s innovative approach for dance has not only been artistic, but  a constant research of how dance can heal dancers and their audiences physically, emotionally and spiritually. That was an innovating approach relating both to dancers, but also to their audiences.

As a healer, he has been certified in the highly recognized QHHT (Dolores Cannon's Quantum Healing, Hypnosis Therapy) - Level 2 practitioner. He is also a Master Reiki, Sound Healer and a Theta Healer. He was fortunate to have studied with acclaimed teachers such as Julia Cannon (QHHT), Yoni Soutchy (Reiki), Adriano Jauvel (Theta Healing), and Vickie Gould (Sound Healing).

Under the Shaya  Neta Healing and Dance umbrella, he is providing numerous ways to heal, recover, learn and… have FUN!

What is Shaya  Neta?

I’ve decided to dedicate the name of my new healing and dance project to my parents. My parents Yeshayhu (Shaya) and Neta Tadmor, my lifelong foundation for strength and support from the time I was born . My father, Shaya,  is one of Israel’s most acclaimed professors of education, and my mother, Neta, is a former Prima Ballerina. In translation from Hebrew, their names mean:

SHAYA - God’s gift and NETA - a seedling.

The two names together create a circular dimension of everything that is between earthly, physical elements to the spiritual realms.

Shaya  Neta is a healing and dance umbrella, that incorporates different modalities of dancing and healing.

As the founder, a healer and a dance professor, under the Shaya  Neta project, I am giving sessions such as QHHT (Dolores Cannon's Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy), as well as single and group life regressions sessions. Other sessions include: Reiki, Theta Healing, Sound Healing, Crystal Ball work and a combination of methods.

Dance classes are being offered both in person and on Zoom five times a week.

Wishing you all the best,

IDO TADMOR

A Note from the Original Shaya and Neta

Our Son,

Mom and I are excited about your new venture - SHAYA VE NETA - firstly, because of how you’ve decided to call it (and for me there is something special about the fact that you chose my nickname used at my parents' home, which now only Neta calls me), but mainly because we consider it as a most higher level in your self-realization as a person, as an artist and therapist.

Your art has never diminished in its aesthetic dimension. It has always brought human and social messages upfront.

Creations such as "Cell", “Neta” and “Maktub” touched the basics of human existence and the perfect triangle of body, emotion and spirit. I always said to my friends: in fact, our son, Ido, is mainly a philosopher, except that he does it in the dance sphere.

On top of that, you have been blessed by healing qualities - correctly reading and identifying the needs of others, connecting to people, diagnosing their background and biographical history, diving into the depths of their souls and the ability to decipher codes and by helping them reach a balanced and harmonious state.

Being a dancer, whose body is the instrument, amplifies these virtues, creates and composes the ideal combination of movement and healing.

We haven't talked much about philosophy, but I think that there is a significant closeness in our perceptions of humanity and life.

As for me, I hold the existentialist philosophy: "The existence precedes essence". Meaning, there is not an "alone model" for a person. Man, from his very existence – from his own trials, experiences, pains and joys, and from his own decisions – shapes his life, determines his human essence, is solely responsible for his path, seeks and finds his destiny and the meanings in his life.

In my personal life I try to live with a great deal of authenticity, enlightenment, rationality, morality and humanity; also related to the metaphysical, spiritual sphere.

Love you,

Shaya and Neta
